How Do I Install the Duolingo English Test Mobile App?

You are required to install the official DET mobile app on your secondary device in order to take the DET. Learn how in this article.

After you have installed the DET desktop app, you will be guided through installing the mobile app during the test set up process.

1. Continue through the test set up flow until you are instructed to scan the QR code using your phone.
2. You will be redirected to a download page. Select the app store for your operating system.
3. Download and open the app.
4. Click GET STARTED.
5. Allow the app to access your camera.
6. Enter the code displayed on your computer screen.
7. Continue with test setup on your phone until instructed to return to your computer.
